Was the paper "On the penetration of period projectiles 900-1200 A.D."? That's the kind of paper I'd write. Actually, I probably wouldn't write anything and bring a bunch of props instead :)
Totally sweet, what conference (unless I'm prying too much). Curious cause if your paper is any indication I seem to be attending the wrong sorts of conferences!
The Popular Culture Association. They meet every year on Easter weekend but the location changes from year to year. Google "PCAACA" and I think there's a link for future conference locations.

Ha, the paper was "Remember the Good Old Days?: Nostalgia, D&D, and the Dungeon Crawl Classics" Sweet, eh? It was well received too!
