After an exhausting wait, I now have hardcover and softcover copies of Barrowmaze in my hands.
What a relief.
As you can see, I have illustrations for most of the monsters in BM. When you fund these sorts of projects on your own you have to make decisions. My goal down the road is to produce a volume that has illustrations for them all. That would be cool :)
That is my next rpg purchase. I've even figured out where it goes in my campaign setting.
ReplyDeleteVery slick! I can see why the hardcover is preferable; I don't imagine the perfect bound copy opens flat on the table.
ReplyDeleteNice. The monster pages look kind of Fiend Folio-ish. (That's a good thing.) I just got an email saying my hardback's been shipped. Huzzah!
ReplyDeleteThis is my next purchase too. As soon as April rolls around...
ReplyDeleteI was going to go for B4 The Lost City next, but I decided to push that back a month.
I can't wait for mine to arrive!
ReplyDeleteI picked a monster page with lots of Trevor Hammond's work. He's got a macabre sensibility and he's British, so I see what you're saying.
ReplyDeleteNice, I'll order me up a hardcover tonight.
ReplyDeleteWhat program did you use for layout?
I used Word. The only reason I used Word is that I am most familiar with that program from work. Timing and kids didn't permit learning a brand new piece of software (which otherwise I probably would have done).
