Someone at NYRB makes some pretty sweet digital versions of the hand-drawn maps they make during their sessions. Go poke around and you might be able to track him down.
Jon Roberts does freelance mapping for some of the big publishers as well as independents, and is prolific enough that he seems to fit a lot of projects into his schedule. I've no idea of his rates, but there are lots of examples (and howtos) of his variety of styles on his blog Fantastic Maps: http://fantasticmaps.wordpress.com/
I do but I also know other people who do too.
ReplyDeleteYou can see some of my maps at http://fictitiousentry.posterous.com/
Also check out http://davesmapper.com for a good selection of people who make kick ass dungeon maps.

ReplyDeleteWhat are you looking for style-wise?
ReplyDeleteThe guy at Lapsus Calumni is excellent. I believe it's Mr. Matt Jackson who commented above.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys. I talked to Tim already but he's too busy.
ReplyDeleteI'm not looking for hand-drawn, I need clean presentation.
DeleteTry Rob Conley of Bat in the Attic. He's a good guy to deal with. I think he does the kind of maps you're looking for.
